VBS is for ages 3-5th grade

In order to sign up you must volunteer in any way that you can with the choices on the registration.

Rising 9th-graduated 12th graders are invited to join as we go to Montreat, NC for Youth Conference. 

This is a great week growing with God and with other youth from all over the world!

Join the Connections Men's Group for a pancake breakfast on June 24th at 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will go to Star Gospel Mission.

This is held in Maryville, TN at Maryville College. It is a Montreat lead conference, but in a different place since High School Montreat is going in Montreat, NC at the same time.

This is for rising 6th- 8th graders

Our doors are open to welcome you in worship and praise, fellowship and mission, stewardship and service. Whether you are visiting us from out of town, new to the area, or looking for a church home, come be part of what God is doing at First United Methodist Church!

Adult Sunday School Classes start at 9:30 am, an hour before the 10:30 service. 

Anchor Class: Uses Bible-based Cokesbury study material. Meets in the classroom across from the nursery. 

All Comers Class: Uses Bible-based Cokesbury study material. Meets in the classroom next to the kitchen.

Boone Bowen Class: A non-traditional approach to fostering a Christian faith. Meets in the Admin building, 

first door on the left. 

Children & Youth Sunday School Classes start at 9:45 am. 

Pre-K—2nd Grade: Meets in the classroom next to the kitchen.

3rd—5th Grade: Meets in classroom across from the nursery.

6th—12th Grade: Meets in the Youth Loft in the Admin Building.

Summer Music Ministry Workshops- Fellowship Hall

Join us this summer for a series of fun and engaging Music Ministry Workshops each Wednesday (excluding July 1st and 8th)  designed for anyone interested in worship, music, and serving the church. Together we'll explore topics such as worship, music basics, leadership, hymn history, worship planning, and more. No musical experience is required—just a willingness to learn and participate! 

All-Comers Summer Choir- Choir Room

Love to sing? Join our All-Comers Summer Choir! Simply show up at 10:00 AM in the Choir Room on Sunday mornings and sing with us in worship. No robes, no weekly commitment, and no pressure—just music, fellowship, and the joy of singing together. Everyone is welcome!
