Wesley April Update!

He is risen; He is risen indeed! We celebrate Easter with joy on each campus as the flowers bloom, the birds sing, and the sun shines. April is a bit of a wind down month for this ministry as students begin the steady march towards the semester’s end.

Some students approach Finals with anxiety; some approach them with anticipation! Many students wrestle with the stress of figuring out what to do over the summer! Still others wrestle with the anxiety of graduation and what lays ahead. Wesley ministers to them all, and we offer spaces for guidance, prayer, discernment, distraction, and peace.

This month, we conclude our semester long study of the Gospel of John and begin a short study of the Epistle of James. We also will have a handful more fellowship events to break up the tension of the month!

What really takes up a lot of our attention is that this month is our Fundraising Month! Throughout the month, we will be asking for continued support from our partner churches, student families, and individual donors to help us continue the great work God is doing in the lives of our students.

NEEDS FOR THIS MONTH:

Our hope is to fundraise $20,000 this month (which would beat last years $17,000) in order to support the ministry that is changing the lives of students every day! Help us reach that goal by making a gift either via check or online (details below). You donation would go to the wonderful ministry of retreats, study Bibles, fellowship opportunities, internships, and more!

PRAYER FOCUS FOR THIS MONTH:

Please pray for our students as that wrestle with the anxiety of April. That could be graduation, summer plans, finals, or more. Pray for peace, comfort, and guidance.

Please also pray for our fundraising efforts. We are so very grateful for all of the support we receive, and we are excited to identify new areas of support!
