Wesley Summer Update!

Summertime and the living is easy! We treasure this unique season as it offers time for rest, reflection, practice, and preparation! Our new Intern Team begins on June 1, and we are so thrilled to see what Isabella Knapp (Communications, CofC), Brendan Cerling (Outreach, ACBA), Ella Perry (Nurture, CofC), and Ava Hussey (Worship, CofC) do with this ministry that they hold dear! We also welcome Jaime Neumann to our Team as our new Administrative Assistant/Treasurer!

The summer is certainly a different season, but we continue to disciple our students! On Mondays, we offer a Zoom study for students near and far where we will discuss the Armor of God! Wednesdays will be our in-person Bible Study in the Book of Genesis. This is open to any and every college student in the Charleston area, regardless of what campus they go to (or are about to go to)! Lastly, we are doing our summer Book Club again, and we will be reading together Pilgrim’s Progress. We are excited to see what God does through all of this!

We will also be engaging with incoming students in order to help them with the transition to school and find a spiritually cultivating environment! We can’t wait!

PRAYER FOCUS FOR THIS MONTH:

Please pray for the new Interns and Jaime as they adjust to their new roles! Pray for students working jobs, taking summer school classes, and trying to find some rest! Pray for our Director and his wife, Hannah, that they may find some rest this summer as well!

Please pray for the students who are heading to college this fall. Pray for peace of mind, wisdom, and patience. Pray for the parents too!
